Since January 1, 2020, we have been here, right in the center of Ratingen, to look after you in women's matters

Dr. med. Katharina Stein
Born in Neuss, I studied medicine in Bonn and Düsseldorf and then did my doctorate. I started my training as a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics in 2004 at the Grevenbroich District Hospital. Since 2009 I have worked as a senior physician in various clinics: first in Grevenbroich, then at the Helios Clinic in Krefeld - a clinic with a level 1 perinatal center - and finally at the St. Anna Hospital in Duisburg.
I live in Düsseldorf with my husband and our two children (5 and 3 years old).

Dr. med. Anne-Katharina John-Ashmawy (employed doctor)
I was born in the south of Germany and I studied and earned my doctorate in Freiburg. I then ended up in the Rhineland for my specialist training. I started in surgery at the University Clinic in Düsseldorf. I completed my gynaecological specialist training at the Sana Hospital in Düsseldorf-Gerresheim and the Evangelical Hospital in Düsseldorf - a perinatal level 2 clinic and breast center.
I am very much looking forward to my new task of looking after you
together with Mrs. Stein and the team at the gynaecological practice "Am Alten Steinhaus".

Anke Behrendt
Medical Assistant
Ms. Behrendt has been a medical assistant since 1987 and has been working as such in this surgery since 1992. She is our longest-serving employee and with her many years of experience has become an important source to rely on. Her area of expertise spreads across all parts of the surgery.
Charlaine Mae Ruby
Medical Assistant
Ms. Ruby started as a trainee in our practice in the summer of 2019 and since her successful examination in the summer of 2022, she is a permanent part of our practice team, which she enriches with her interested and always cheerful manner.
Christel Kehr
Trainee
Ms. Kehr works part-time in our practice and as an experienced all-rounder is a valuable part of the practice team in all areas. We are happy to have you as an important pillar in the team.

Sandra Lemke
Medical assistant
Since fall 2020, Mrs. Lemke supports our team. As a mother with small children, she is mainly there in the mornings. As a former nurse, Mrs. Lemke is used to stressful situations and is therefore our rock in turbulent situations.

Martina Becker
Medical assistant
Since January 2022, Ms. Becker has been supporting our team on a part-time basis. With her more than 20 years of experience as an MfA, Ms. Becker is our calming influence even in turbulent hours. With her cheerful nature she is an enrichment of our practice team.
Ute Schneider
Medical assistant
Ms. Schneider has been part of our team since November 2022. She has many years of experience in practice management and is responsible for the organizational processes in particular.
